FAIR. Red boards, heavily rubbed . Bumped. Gilt to spine faded. Part 2 has one 1/2" and one 3/4" cut through outer cloth not affecting inside. Part 1 spine edges frayed. Maps all present in book- One sheet - 7. Toulon, 8. Corsica, 9. Bastia and 10. Calvi is loose. There is no case for this map volume.  Vol 2 pxv/xvi working loose but still bound. Interior all three clean and unmarked save bookplate to paste down endpapers and owners name to free endpaper on each book.

1789-1801 in Fortescue's epic history of the army.
