Warrfarr deals primarily in second hand/used/collectable military books, although we do carry some new and remaindered books as well. The condition of books is clearly stated using this formula:

• New:     These are unread books direct from a publisher, wholesaler or in some cases remainder dealer. Where the books are marked as remaindered in some way this is noted.
• Mint:  Also known as Fine or 'As New', these books have been previously sold and owned but are without fault or defect and probably unopened.
• Near Fine:  As above but with some evidence of having been opened and read.
• Very Good:  Some signs of wear from repeated reading.
• Good: The average used book, has been read but is complete as issued and intact. Any defects are noted.
• Fair:  A complete text, with all maps and plates but possibly missing endpapers. half-title pages etc -defects are noted
• Reading copy:  A well used copy, worn, but with a complete text. Major defects are noted but books in this category may be scuffed, stained or spotted and joints hinges and pages may be loose.

Where a book is ex library this is always noted as is the fact that a book is a Book Club edition.
